MANY YEARS of work have gone into the writings and photographs on this site. By making my work readily available on the Internet I hope to promote my writings and photos as well as share with whoever wishes the fruits of my encounters with some extraordinary people in some remote corners of the planet that others might not have the good fortune to visit. My ultimate hope is that the dissemination of my work may somehow be for the good of all. The nature of the Internet is such that though there are laws that prohibit you from copying my work, I cannot prevent you.
